Training

Iowa Lead & Asbestos Safety is the parent company of Alliance Environmental Services and is an accredited training provider in Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. They provide lead-based paint and asbestos training courses in accordance with State, EPA, HUD and OSHA guidelines.  Their main training facility is located in Des Moines,  however, classes are offered in various cities each month throughout the State.  On-site training is also available at your facility for no additional charge.

Each course provides demonstrations and hands-on training, delivered by an instructor who works as a professional contractor, is a licensed lead and  asbestos contractor and inspector, and understands the importance of applying safety concepts to the work you perform in your trade.

All of Iowa Lead & Asbestos Safety's instructors have physically worked in the construction industry for an average of 23 years each.  Each carries multiple lead and asbestos licenses and are still active in general construction, abatement activities, building inspections and consultations. Their in-depth industry knowledge and true hands-on experience enables them to clearly explain WHAT the law requires and HOW it specifically applies to your field of work.

LEAD-BASED PAINT

• 8 hour Lead Safe Renovator and 4 hour Refresher
• 24 hour Lead Abatement Worker and 8 hour Refresher
• 40 hour Lead Abatement Contractor and 8 hour Refresher
• 20 hour Sampling Technician and 8 hour Refresher
• 40 hour Inspector and 16 hour Refresher
• 2 or 4 hour Lead Hazard Awareness

ASBESTOS

• 32 hour Asbestos Abatement Worker and 8 hour Refresher
• 40 hour Asbestos Abatement Supervisor and 8 hour Refresher
• 16 hour Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and 2 hour Refresher
